What seems familiar to us every day can become alien to us tomorrow. Strangeness is not a marginal phenomenon that comes from the outside - it arises from within us. XENOS - alien ecologies addresses this question from three perspectives: ensphere GmbH (landscape architects) shows how climate change is already altering Hamburg's urban spaces today. Christine Rehders (visual artist) explores the process of alienation with sculptural objects and photographic series. Deaf Anthropologist (sound designer) designs an original Hamburg sound ecology.
