XV. Avantgarde Festival

The XV Avantgarde Festival will take place from June 20 to 22, 2025 in Schiphorst, Duchy of Lauenburg and has been providing a platform for experimental art and music outside the mainstream since 1996.

This year's program includes 14 live acts from a wide variety of genres, including free jazz, prog-rock, psychedelic, avant-pop, electronics and experimental improvisation (and much more).

In addition to the live acts (on-stage), the audience can expect 2 exhibitions, workshops, 7 micro art actions (off-stage) and many other surprises. Participation and a collaborative approach are central elements of the festival.

The uncurated stage ANNEX offers open slots for courageous and encouraged people. The "no backstage policy" ensures a direct exchange between artists and audience, while the large communal catering area serves as a place for dialog and encounters.

The festival ticket (100,- € VVK) includes the culinary catering, as food is understood as a collective experience, cultural heritage and platform for exchange.
