Brothers Brian and Diarmuid Mac Gloinn first performed together as street musicians and have since developed into a stable collective - a sonically unique ensemble with polyphonic acoustic and electric guitars, trumpet, double bass, Moog synthesizer, harmonium, bouzouki, violin and the siblings' harmonious voices. They are regarded as "pioneers of a new wave of Irish folk music" and have won awards for Best Song, Best Album and Best Folk Group at the RTE Radio 1 Folk Awards. Their eagerly awaited new studio album "All Tied Together" was created under the direction of renowned producer Phil Weinrobe (Big Thief, Adrienne Lenker). It was mostly recorded live in an old house in Galway and will be released in January 2026 via Rough Trade / River Lea.
