Yol oder ein Zebrastreifen geht Sonne suchen

"Yol oder ein Zebrastreifen geht Sonne suchen" is a performative audio walk through the backyards and side streets of Ottensen. Three figures - Mercedes, Nina and Fairouzh - shimmer through the night on the trail of the neighborhood's past and tell of the many little stories hidden between the cobblestones. Reality and fiction, remembering and forgetting, fame and anonymity, Turkish, Jewish and Black history characterize the biography of these streets. How do we move through a past that has been built over, hidden, repressed and archived? What happens when we listen to it?
