Information about the piece:

The performance "YOU" arises from a collection of stories, thoughts and experiences. These polyphonic impulses develop into a physical, poetic and at the same time powerful dance theater language. The piece moves between intimacy and community, between personal memory and existential reflection and poses fundamental questions: Who are we? Why are we here? And what sustains us through turbulent times?

The production invites the audience to understand dance not only as an art form, but also as a place of encounter and shared experience. Selected performances will be followed by discussions with the artists.

SZENE 2WEI was founded in 2009 by Timo Gmeiner and William Sánchez H.. The company works in the field of contemporary dance theater. The ensemble consists of dancers with and without disabilities. The company sees inclusion not only as a social mandate, but also as an artistic practice and aesthetic attitude. Its productions operate at the interface of art, society and social commitment.
