There are bands that change the musical landscape, and then there are bands like Young Rebel Set that leave an unforgettable legacy in the hearts of their fans. Formed by seven friends in their early 20s in a small bar in Stockton-on-Tees, Northern England, the story of this extraordinary band began in 2007. Their first song, "If I Was", brought them to the ears of the right people through a chain of almost magical coincidences and ignited a musical fire that would soon sweep across Europe.

In 2019, the tragic news suddenly came: Matty Chipchase, the charismatic singer and head of the band, passed away at the age of just 35.

But on Matty's 40th birthday in September 2024, the fire of the Young Rebel Set burned brightly again. In an emotional show in their hometown of Stockton-on-Tees, his bandmates, supported by the local music scene, celebrated their friend's lyrics and songs. From that magical night came the decision: Young Rebel Set are returning - with old companions, new songs and a tour of Europe in May 2026.

The upcoming tour will not only include the band's unforgettable classics such as "If I Was" and "Lion's Mouth", but also new material that has been created in recent years. The band looks to their past with respect and great anticipation for the future - the magic is back.
