Just throw garbage on the floor? - ZaPPaloTT thinks that's stupid - and diligently throws everything into the garbage can. But suddenly the garbage can gets a tummy ache - and with it begins an adventure full of magic, music and laughter. Together with the children, the magician and clown discovers what happens when waste gets mixed up and why proper waste separation is not so difficult.

In his interactive play, ZaPPaloTT combines magic, clowning and children's songs to create a colorful experience that is completely free of preachiness. With a lot of humor and heart, he shows how supposed garbage can be turned into small miracles - and that environmental protection can also be fun.

When Manfred, the garbage collector, turns up looking for his little garbage mouse Mathilda, it's a challenge for everyone. Can a ketchup bottle talk? And where has Mathilda been hiding? The children help out, sing, guess, laugh - and learn along the way how they can make the world a little cleaner themselves.

"ZaPPaloTT & the garbage can" is a magical participatory theater about garbage, magic and compassion - playful, cheeky and colorful.
