CEDAR

Celebrating life, walking the long path in harmony with our heartbeat and exploring the reasons for our existence - like a mighty cedar with countless roots that create connections, we meet people again and again on our path. Inspired by the wisdom of the cedar tree, the dancers of the SZENE 2WEI company bring the themes of joie de vivre and closeness to nature to the stage - expressed in diverse and dynamic images. The dance deepens these themes and combines them with elements of contemporary dance theater.

Duration: 35 min.

The second performance begins after a changeover break of approx. 20 minutes.

THINGS FALLING

It tells of the inscription of memory in the body: traces of vigilance, impact and war - scars that are also manipulations that shape identity and open up questions: What changes us? How does it reverberate in our bodies? The play examines the indissoluble connection between body, memory and identity. Every conflict leaves its mark, every resonance is carried on. The battle has changed its form: It no longer unfolds its power solely on the battlefield, but also in the space of technologies. But its effect on the body and identity remains.
