In the organizer's words:
Accompanying Event for the Exhibition HEINZ TRÖKES – JOURNEYS OF THE EYE
On this evening, four small-format colored-pencil drawings by Heinz Trökes will become musical scores. Percussionist Sabrina Ma will follow their lines and structures and translate them into sound. This opens up an unusual approach to Trökes’ visual language, in which seeing and hearing enter into a dialogue with one another.
The event will be complemented by a conversation between curator Dr. Anna Krüger and Manuel Trökes, the artist’s son.
