Accompanying event for the exhibition HEINZ TRÖKES – EYE JOURNEYS
Four small-format colored pencil drawings by Heinz Trökes will become musical scores this evening. Percussionist Sabrina Ma follows their lines and structures, translating them into sound. This opens up an unusual approach to Trökes’ visual language, in which seeing and hearing enter into a dialogue with one another.
The event will be complemented by a guided tour with curator Dr. Anna Krüger and Manuel Trökes, the artist’s son.
