Zeitgenössisches Tanzstück "Blaufrau" im Panometer Leipzig
In the organizer's words:
"Blaufrau" is a contemporary dance piece by the Berlin tütü Tanzensemble that highlights the importance of women in history who dared to do new things and shape the future despite social expectations. Their impact is immense and it is hard to imagine what reality would look like today if they had not acted then.
Based on well-known speeches and quotes from historical and contemporary female figures such as Bertha Benz, Pocahontas and Angela Merkel, the dance piece encourages us to reflect on our own influence on history and to take action.
The event is seated and takes place directly in the 360° panorama "THE CATHEDRAL OF MONET" by artist Yadegar Asisi. Before the dance performance, the current panorama exhibition can be viewed from 6 to 7 pm.
