In the organizer's words:

How much longer untilslow motion?

Sometimes time flies by. And sometimes we can hardly wait for it to pass. Day and night, spring, summer, fall, and winter—tick, tock, tick, tock. Is there actually such a thing as an internal clock? How do you wake up in the morning? And why do some people only really wake up when the sun goes to sleep?
Ice cream tastes especially good in the summer. It’s just a shame that it melts so quickly. Other things, on the other hand, take their time: plants grow slowly, and a sloth moves leisurely through the day. And then there’s a little bird that always seems to be in a hurry.

With“Slow Motion,” we’re celebrating a premiere: the first children’s film program at the Werkleitz Festival. Together, we’ll discover film and cinema—and take a closer look at time along the way.
