Ludwig van Beethoven: "Hammerklavier Sonata"
In 2023, Zhouhui Shen won third prize at the Bonn Telekom Beethoven Competition - with an explosive interpretation of the "Hammerklavier Sonata", among others. The Chinese pianist combines Beethoven's most complex sonata with gentle Romantic miniatures. She will also be performing a work by composer Chen Yi from her home country, who was inspired by traditional dances of the Dong ethnic group.
