A visit to our planetarium is always an impressive journey through space and time. This time it's into the future of space.
We cannot know what will happen on Earth in the coming centuries. But the natural sciences can use their findings to make broad statements about the future of the Earth and the universe.
So what will happen on Earth, in the solar system and in the entire cosmos over millions and billions of years according to our current state of knowledge? Over the course of millions of years, the Earth's landscapes and habitats will change due to the shifting of the continents. However, observing the changes on our planet is only the beginning of a much more enormous journey through time into the cosmic future. In our minds, unimaginable periods of time are traversed in which stars, galaxies and even matter itself will change beyond recognition.
On a grandiose tour, we dare to take a look from now to eternity.
