Inspired by the immortal work Don Quixote de la Mancha by Miguel de Cervantes, the NinClo theater group creates an imaginative stage experience full of humor, poetry and quiet magic.

Japanese actor, dancer and performer Ryota Maeda and actor and clown Carlos Lojo meet on stage and allow two worlds to collide: Spain and Japan, chivalry and samurai, dream and reality.

Don Quixote, passionate idealist, king of misunderstandings, border crosser between genius and madness - reminds us of the irrepressible power of dreaming. For what is reality other than a story that we have agreed upon?

In this poetic-comic reinterpretation, a clown, obsessed with sushi, fishing and reading Don Quixote, is transformed into a knight errant. Driven by longing and fantasy, he travels to Japan - the land of the rising sun - where he meets the most famous samurai.

What follows is an encounter full of humor, absurdity and delicate magic. Opponents become companions, the proud warrior becomes a modern Sancho Panza. Between katana and kitchen knife, between honor and heart, a friendship grows that transcends borders.
