The ambivalence of loss and desire is the central theme that runs through the work of Nika Roza Danilova alias Zola Jesus. She has impressively explored this tension musically in her latest album Arkhon and brought Sunn O))) producer Randall Dunn on board. Shortly after the release of "Arkhon", Zola Jesus released "Alive in Cappadocia", a recording of four concerts in a 2000-year-old chapel in Cappadocia, Turkey. Nika Rosa Danilova solo at the piano, without a microphone, with a convincing vocal dynamic that is enhanced by the natural reverberation and the sound of the room itself: simply masterful. Inspired by this experience, Zola Jesus will now also perform her songs live solo on the piano.

As Fågelle, the artist Klara Andersson draws on the fields of performative sound art, noise and pop to create a unique sound tremor. Layered noise, catchy pop melodies and fragile constructs of concrete noise worlds explore rhythmic spheres. Their music has been described as "a gentle slap in the face". Not a single word of Swedish is needed to understand Fågelle - their musicality and urgency speak for themselves in a unique way.
