ZONTA International: Women for women - worldwide
ZONTA International is a worldwide association of professional women who are committed to improving the legal, political and economic situation of women all over the world. To this end, ZONTA International cooperates with other global organizations such as the United Nations (UN), the World Health Fund (WHO) and UNESCO.

Founded in Buffalo/USA in 1919, ZONTA International today has 1200 clubs and 29,000 members in 63 countries. One of Zonta International's main concerns is the fight to eliminate and prevent violence against women and girls. Every year on the International Day of Remembrance for Victims of Violence against Women and Girls on November 25, Zonta Clubs around the world launch the "Orange the world" campaign under the motto "Zonta says NO", calling on people not to look away, but to take an active part in the fight to eliminate and prevent violence against women and children.
