Common dangerous songs and poetry from Kästner to Ringelnatz

What do Hildegard Knef, Friedhelm Kändler and Joachim Ringelnatz have in common? Their ideal interpreter Alix Dudel! In this program, she once again appreciates the classics of the genre with her velvety deep voice. She performs chansons, poetry and witty language - always with a wink and a twinkle in her eye, sometimes with a bitter twist.

It's the mixture that makes it: The diseuse and chanson singer Alix Dudel is known for her tightrope walks - great chanson art meets the occasionally silly poems of Friedhelm Kändler. The sharp-tongued songs by Georg Kreisler are highly topical and the Knef songs with Dudel's timbre are a delight. In between, Joachim Ringelnatz is cheeky and the new setting of Erich Kästner's "Sachliche Romanze" is surprising.

Alix Dudel is accompanied by guitarist Sebastian Albert. With creative sounds on the jazz guitar, he enriches and supports the stories and poems of Kändler and Co. The fact that he loves rock and classical music in equal measure and has woven his own music from them is fantastic.

A magical evening between Friedhelm Kändler's whimsical tunes, Knef's equanimity and Georg Kreisler's sarcasms. It's fun and touching!

Alix Dudel

is a diseuse, actress and singer. Numerous texts by the writer Friedhelm Kändler have been premiered in her interpretation. She has also created musical-literary programs based on the poetry of Mascha Kaléko and Bertolt Brecht. Usually at her side: jazz guitarist Sebastian Albert.

Sebastian Albert

is a bassist and electric guitarist, composer and arranger and used to be in the rock band Eaten by Sheiks. He can still be heard in various studio and theater productions under the name Gomez and also composes music for film and radio play productions. He is also a lecturer in Hamburg.
