Zukunfts-Tücher: Siebdruck Drop-In Workshop für Kinder und Erwachsene

In the organizer's words:

With Merle Richter & Siebdruckwerkstatt Neukölln

In her works in the current exhibition "Im Gespräch mit Geistern", artist Josefine Reisch takes up the GDR tradition of commemorative scarves - scarves that were once produced for military honors, sporting events or major events such as the X. World Youth Festival. Reisch's combination of screen printing and etching blends different narratives. Something new emerges from the overlapping of different motifs. The drop-in workshop for children and adults builds on this. Using screen printing, you will design cloths with Spreepark motifs and can also paint them freely. We will be looking ahead: What should your Spreepark of the future look like?

In the GDR, people also signed each other's scarves. We want to pick up on this moment of collectivity and solidarity: Design scarves for each other, exchange motifs, leave traces, create shared images of the future.
