We set a long table on the stage and invite you to take a seat together, eat, listen and engage in conversation. The table becomes a place where experiences, questions and ideas are shared, open to diverse perspectives and realities of life.

The December issue focuses on the topic of "Inclusion and participation". If inclusion is understood as non-discriminatory participation, the question arises: How do we create good conditions so that everyone can participate - including in the municipal advisory councils?
Together with members of the district advisory councils, we will discuss what resources, information and formats are needed to make participation accessible to everyone. We also want to look at the cross-cutting issues that connect the advisory boards and how they can work together to become stronger, more visible and more self-determined in their dealings with politicians and the administration.

Daniela Kaup (Commissioner for People with Disabilities, District of Lichtenberg), Jörg Sommer (Director of the Berlin Institute for Participation and Coordinator of the Alliance for Diverse Democracy) and Hannah Zacher (Project Manager "Made Easy", Neukölln Berlin Community Foundation) will provide impulses.
