TOGETHER, WHAT'S HAPPENING – A Path That Brings People Together

Sometimes it doesn’t take much to get people talking to one another. Often, simply walking together is enough. That’s exactly why we’re inviting you: Join us on a walk from Bochum to Dortmund. Along the way, you’ll encounter little puzzles, thought-provoking questions, and plenty of opportunities to meet new people—people you might never have crossed paths with in your everyday life.

At the end of the walk, a free light lunch will be waiting for all participants at the Caritas Community Center in Lütgendortmund.

With this event, we want to show that solidarity isn’t just a big word—it happens where people come together: while walking, listening, reflecting, and laughing together. It’s not about performance or getting there as fast as possible. It’s about being open-minded and curious, discovering new perspectives, and spending time together.

The event is open to everyone between the ages of 16 and 99—regardless of whether you’re already an active volunteer or simply in the mood for a fun-filled morning in good company. Youdon’thave to be involved with youngcaritas or Caritas. Everyone is warmly welcome.

The walk covers about seven kilometers. We’ll take time for encounters, puzzles, and conversations, and walk at a relaxed pace. Still, you should feel confident that you can handle the distance physically and enjoy walking.

Route:approx. 7 km

Who can participate:Anyone between the ages of 16 and 99

What to bring:Sturdy shoes, a water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat
