Dyeing and printing with textiles
(Workshop for children aged 9 and over)
A textile piece (T-shirt, cotton bag, etc.) is altered by individually knotting, twisting, folding or binding in one or more objects and dyed in its manipulated form.
We then make one or more stamps from potatoes, foam rubber or cord and cardboard to print on the dyed textile or another piece.
The aim is to experience that textile design is versatile, exciting and easily accessible for children, even with simple and small means. The individuality of the dyeing and printing results strengthens a sense of uniqueness and creativity.
Costs: 15- 20 euros/person (cash on site)

Equipment required for the children:
- Work clothes/ old shirt or T-shirt
- Old kitchen towel or hand towel
- light-colored clothing, bag, bag for printing (if available)
