Performing Arts Festival Berlin

One city - many bodies: the program of the eighth festival edition shows the creative potential of the independent performing arts in Berlin. Socio-political questions such as identities and gender norms, closeness and distance or cohesion and responsibility will be negotiated in a multifaceted way.

Over the course of six days, the entire spectrum of the capital's independent scene will be presented on large and small stages, as well as in public spaces. The artists share their views and visions - expressively in dance, as performance

Bodies Under Tension at the 2023 Berlin Performing Arts Festival (PAF)

One city - many bodies: the schedule of programming of the eight edition of the festival puts the creative and exciting potential of the independent performing arts in Berlin on display. Sociopolitical questions such as identities and gender norms, closeness and distance, or togetherness and responsibility will be negotiated in all of their facets.

For six days, the entire spectrum of the independent performing arts community of the capital will be presented on large and small stages, as well as in public spaces. The artists will share their points of view and visions - expressively in the form of dance, performance, music theater and spoken word theater or as contemporary circus.

Exciting locations for conversations, music and cool summer drinks will provide a lively festival atmosphere and relaxed settings for discussions.
