In the festival's words:

SemiCologne is back and has got a new look for you. This year's edition is all about music & migration. In four exhibition areas we tell stories of arriving, celebrating, missing, inspiring, searching and finding. We are dedicated to numerous international musical instruments as well as party and concert series founded by migrants in Cologne over the last fifty years. Come by to listen to music, browse and discover.

At the entrance there will be headphones on your ears and an individual playlist for each visitor, compiled by a wide variety of Cologne residents. While you drift through the exhibition, you will be accompanied by wondrous to well-known beats. In our pop-up record store you can take a piece of migrant music history home with you.
