In 2022, the hitherto "bi-national" performing arts festival theaterszene europa will reorient itself in a forward-looking way through the principle of "collective curating". In the course of the past festival editions of theaterszene europa there have been numerous ensembles, collectives and individual artists with whom studiobühneköln has remained in regular contact. We have sent invitations to four of these contemporary protagonists of the performing arts (Markus& Markus Theaterkollektiv, Thermoboy FK, Deter & Müller and Pinchbeck & Smith) to present one of their productions in Cologne and to curate further contributions to the festival together with us. And so this year's edition of theaterszene europa brings together artists from England, Scotland, Sweden, Switzerland and Germany.
