In the location's words:

Nowhere can you get closer to Anna Seghers as a person than in her living quarters, which have been preserved in their original state. She lived in Berlin-Adlershof from 1950, initially in Altheider Straße. In 1955, she and her husband Laszlo Radvanyi moved into the upper floor of a newly built three-storey apartment building at Volkswohlstraße 81, now Anna-Seghers-Straße.
This apartment was the place where she lived for the longest time of her life, until her death in 1983. Even later, when she was President of the Writers' Association of the GDR, she deliberately did not want to swap it for a prestigious villa in Berlin-Niederschönhausen.

Zusätzliche Öffnungszeit am Berliner Museumssonntag - jeden ersten Sonntag des Monats. Die Führungen am Museumssonntag finden jeweils 11 Uhr, 13 Uhr & 15 Uhr statt.
