Today, APOLLO is one of the last district cinemas in Germany with a unique program structure. You can still plan your visit to the cinema for the long term, as each screening is scheduled a month in advance. An incomparable mix of current and classic, sophisticated films is shown at low ticket prices. As certain as the return of Christmas is, so too is the screening of "Harold & Maude" in the final days of the end of the year. If you missed a movie in its first run in the city centre or don't fancy multiplex cinemas, you're usually in luck, because the nostalgic APOLLO will probably show it again in one of the following months. The offer is supplemented by film nights, film premieres by Hanoverian students, private, special and school screenings, readings and visits by directors. In 2006, we renovated the toilet facilities and created a new cozy foyer.
