The ASTOR Filmtheater presents itself with comfort, the best picture and sound technology and the largest screen in Lower Saxony.

The ASTOR Filmtheater is a place for connoisseurs and real movie lovers. Here, films are not simply consumed, but celebrated in style. We want you to feel completely at home with us! Eight large, stylish movie theaters with first-class technology, comfortable box seats with waiter service and leather armchairs with plenty of legroom look forward to your visit.

As a box guest, we offer you a welcome drink when you enter, jackets can be left at the free checkroom and food and drinks can be ordered directly at your seat. You can lean back in the leather seats and put your feet up in one of the eight individually designed movie theaters.

Our gastronomic offerings include delicious snacks, finger food platters, ice cream specialties, nachos and, of course, sweet and salty popcorn. In addition to classic soft drinks, you will find a selected wine list and sophisticated cocktails.

All auditoriums are equipped with the latest cinema technology, such as 4K laser projection. In auditorium 8, the Dolby ATMOS sound system awaits you, drawing you right into the movie. In addition to current blockbusters, arthouse films and film classics, the ASTOR Filmtheater offers a large target group program for young and old (My first visit to the cinema, Super Kids Club, Milkaus Filmcafé, BZ film premieres, etc.). You will also find regular theater, opera and concert broadcasts in the program.
