BBK/W
Association of Visual Artists of Württemberg e.V.
The Bund Bildender Künstlerinnen Württembergs e.V. brings together around one hundred contemporary artists. Painting, graphics, installation, photography, sculpture - all genres are represented. In their own studio building, the members show excerpts of their current artistic positions in eight exhibitions each year. Through art talks, open studio days and collaborations with other institutions, artists form an active network in which they can exchange ideas in a lively and up-to-date manner. The BBK/W is firmly anchored in the cultural life of the city of Stuttgart and, with over 130 years of history, has always contributed a great deal to the cultural diversity of Stuttgart's art scene. The studio house with ten studios is managed and organized by the elected board and the artistic advisory board on a voluntary basis. The association is funded by the city and state.
