THE DRIVE-IN MOVIE THEATER IN ASCHHEIM

Since 1969, the DRIVE IN drive-in cinema in Munich Aschheim has been delighting movie fans of all ages with the latest blockbusters and unforgettable film classics all year round. With around 600 seats and digital projection on two screens with 540 m² (cinema 1) and 240 m² (cinema 2) of projection area, every movie lover gets their money's worth.

Since December 2022, the DRIVE IN drive-in cinema in Munich Aschheim has had a new 4K projector of the latest generation in its Cinema 1, bringing state-of-the-art laser technology to the drive-in cinema. With a light output like you've never experienced before, it produces razor-sharp and intensely bright images with rich contrasts and impressive image depth that put any conventional movie theater image in the shade!

The light output of our laser projector in Cinema 1 is approx. 52,000 lumens. In Cinema 2, the light output of the digital projector is approx. 32,000 lumens.

Turn your car into your own cinema and receive the film sound in stereo directly via your own car radio (FM) in the best quality and determine your optimum volume.

You can receive the movie sound from cinema 1 on the radio at 98.9 MHz and for cinema 2 at 99.8 MHz.

ATTENTION: If you have a DAB+ radio, there may be a delay in the sound. If you have problems, you can borrow a mobile radio (JBL) from the Snackbar.

SNACK BAR AND FAST LANE SERVICE

Snacks, food and drinks are also provided! In our retro-style snack bar, you can enjoy American-style burgers and delicious finger food as well as popcorn, nachos and cozy blankets for a feel-good drive-in movie experience.

The drive-in movie experience is even more attractive for you with an electric vehicle! An extensive charging infrastructure is available to you in Cinema 1. We currently have 14 charging stations, each with a capacity of 22 kW. It is easy and inexpensive to use - operate the charging stations conveniently via the ChargeOne app or with your charging card.
