The location has a long history. Back in the 1960s, a corner restaurant was known here for its legendary bratwurst, and later the OXMOX became an institution in Osnabrück. It started out as Café@work, a place to work and relax, which quickly became a success. But coronavirus turned the concept on its head. With working from home and free time on Fridays, the need for breaks and relaxed after-work evenings increased. At Backstein, you can now find a special place to enjoy some time out - alone or in company.
