We have been brewing beer in Bielefeld since 2016 - starting with just 100 liters per brew as a passionate hobby of our founder Mike. After his first creations at home, he rented a store in the "Hotel zur Spitze" for brewing. Once a week, the doors were opened to curious beer enthusiasts who wanted to try Mike's hand-brewed beer fresh from the barrel. Of course, beer was also available to take away, but in the traditional way of dairy farmers, customers had to bring their own glass bottles for bottling - it couldn't be more sustainable!

With the help of a loan, Mike was then able to enable the first major bottling of his beer - initially at the Rheder Castle Brewery, but after a year at the somewhat larger Westheimer Brewery in Maßberg. Since 2018, we have now been based on the Möllerwerke site in Bielefeld-Brackwede. Here, in 2022, Mike was finally able to fulfill his long-awaited dream of opening his own brewery. After many years in which Flutlicht and Co. were brewed and bottled for us in other regional breweries, our beer is now finally being brewed directly in Bielefeld! This is not only a milestone for us as a family business and for the city of Bielefeld itself, but above all a project close to our hearts.
