The recording studio consists of three completely separate recording rooms and a spacious control room. With an area of almost 100 square meters and a ceiling height of 6 meters, our Live Room is perfectly suited for recording bands and medium-sized ensembles (e.g. chamber orchestras). Showcases and our studio concerts in front of small audiences take place here, but the room is also often and gladly used for video and film productions.

All recording rooms offer daylight and are visually connected to each other and to the control room by large, soundproof windows.

The heart of the studio is a NEVE Genesys Black recording console - the first and only of its kind in Germany.

Brand new in the Blackbird Music Studio: The best grand piano in town! - A Steinway D (built 1990), overhauled and tonally improved in the Hamburg sound manufactory.
