The B.L.O. studios are one of the most interesting and largest artist* communities in Berlin. About 90 people work and produce on the premises of the former railroad depot Berlin-Lichtenberg-Ost. The spectrum is unique: sculpture, bow and boomerang construction, bicycle construction, film effects, photography, graphics, woodwork, painting, metalwork, furniture construction, fashion design, music, product design, stone and concrete work, theater and film equipment and much more.In the event space "canteen" concerts, film and theater performances, lectures and exhibitions take place regularly. Some studios and workshops offer workshops.The supporting association Lockkunst e.V. regularly organizes non-profit projects with various cultural and community partners.

B.L.O. studios offer space for workshops and studios to a great variety of artists and makers. It is one of the largest and most diverse artist communities in East Berlin. Around 90 people work here, among which are visual artists, musicians, photographers, blacksmiths and special effect technicians. B.L.O.-Ateliers produces media art, sculpture, installations, furniture, concrete castings, metal works, bamboo bikes, boomerangs and much more.It engages the public through concerts, workshops, film screenings, lectures, theater and exhibitions. It regularly organizes non-profit projects with various cultural and municipal partners.
