In its current form and location, the Botanical Garden and Arboretum aims to impart knowledge. It is aimed at all those interested in the world of plants: students and teachers, young and old, pupils and parents and many more. We invite you to acquire knowledge and understanding of the plant world. Because people will only protect what they know.

And if we have succeeded in sparking your passion for the plant world, we invite you to become a member of the association "Freunde und Förderer des Botanischen Gartens Greifswald e. V.".
