Café Johanna is located in a quiet corner of Hamburg, close to the Michel and on the so-called Venusberg. Under the management of Sarah, it has been a popular meeting place for locals and tourists for 12 years. Sarah and her team have turned the café into a place where guests immediately feel welcome and like to linger. The atmosphere is informal, which is also due to the personal relationship with the suppliers, from whom the jam and bread, among other things, come.

The café is particularly well known for its breakfast and lunch specials. Guests can look forward to creative breakfast options such as an Ayurvedic breakfast or brioche, which can only be found in its unique form at Café Johanna. Lunch options include fresh salads and a variety of dishes, all of which are of high quality and also available in vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.

The café has made a name for itself and attracts people with its warm service, Italian coffee and homemade dishes. The name "Johanna" comes from the former kiosk owner Johanna, who ran her store in front of the café for years and gave her blessing to the new café.
