Balmy summer evenings, concerts in the middle of nature and the scent of flowers in your nose? That sounds like Draussen im Grünen - the open-air concert series in Hamburg's most beautiful recreational area, Planten un Blomen.
What was created in 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic and attracted people out of their living rooms as a cultural highlight is still going strong after the pandemic - with a varied cultural program, including live music. Since 2022, OHA! Music has been the sole organizer of the concert series.
#worklifebalance was yesterday, #parklivebalance is today. Art, culture and music provide an unforgettable excursion into the countryside in the dreamlike setting of the music pavilion. When the sun sets behind the TV tower, the park lights shine on the old trees and the music plays, everyday life is quickly forgotten.
In 2024, the program is as varied as in previous years: Dota & Band, Orbit, Dekker, LAING, Ty Segall and Bodo Wartke will be playing - to name just a few who will provide unforgettable moments. But ok.danke.tschüss and Wilhelmine and Allah-Las will also be coming to the park to bring the "Musikmuschel", as the music pavilion is affectionately known, to life.
There is an awareness concept at all events to ensure that all visitors feel safe and comfortable. After this summer at the latest, Hamburg residents and visitors alike will know that there is more to experience in this 200-year-old green oasis than just flora and fauna.
Here's to an unforgettable summer in Planten un Blomen, in the middle of the most beautiful city in the world - quite simply: outdoors in the green!
