The Esslingen duck race takes place every year on Sundays when shops are open as part of the "Esslinger Frühling".

This "somewhat different" race and fundraising event for a good cause is now a permanent fixture and attracts numerous spectators:

Every year, 8,000 rubber ducks, cheered on by thousands of fans big and small along the route, compete in a thrilling beak-to-beak race.

The lucky numbers of the fastest ducks are determined after the finish and win great prizes. In this respect, the race is comparable to a raffle - but so much more exciting, spectacular and fun!
