The classicist façade still recalls the name the cinema bore at its opening: OLYMPIA. The elegant red lettering with today's name shines over the trees of the adjacent park and puts the inviting flight of steps in the right light. Today, the cinema is a stylish arthouse center with 5 auditoriums, all individually designed. A set designer took care of the décor during the reconstruction in the mid-90s. The results are very different halls, from wonderfully playful to clear and technical. The most popular is Hall 2, which never fails to delight audiences with its flowing golden plaster curtain and glowing blue glass squares in the yellow wall covering. When it comes to film selection, the creators strive to offer the most diverse program possible. From larger American independent films to small European or German productions and the children's program; film lovers will definitely get their money's worth here. And all this in the best technically equipped halls. The Monday Sneak Preview is particularly popular, where a mixed (regular) audience is surprised by a film that is about to be released. A special highlight of this series is the "Holy Sneak Preview Night". Every year on December 24, five films of the upcoming cinema winter are shown in a Christmas atmosphere.
