Flakensee

This beautiful lake is 0.67 square kilometers in size and 8 meters deep. Despite boat traffic, the water is crystal clear and surrounded by trees. The sandy beach at Flakensee offers shallow areas for swimming, ideal for children too. A small snack bar at the campsite sells chips, bratwurst and drinks. Dixi toilets are available.

There are good restaurants and boat rentals at the Woltersdorf lock, about 15 minutes' walk away. The lock operations are particularly exciting for children. Antiquarian bookshops and small stores invite you to stroll around, and the historic streetcar is an additional highlight.
