In the location's words:

The Burgtheater, built in 1934 and in atmospheric association with the medieval castle and the Kathrin-Türks-Halle, is an open-air stage right in the center of Dinslaken. The visitors' grandstand holds more than 1,600 visitors and is arranged in a circle around the lower stage area. Not only does this make the Burgtheater an exquisite place among the open-air spaces in the Lower Rhine region, but also the incredible feeling each visitor has of sitting here in a theater "without a roof".

With the Fantastival, events of the DIN-EVENT GmbH and many other actors, a supra-regionally appreciated venue has formed here, where open-air concerts can be enjoyed.
