ANALOG ART PHOTOGRAPHY is a new center for analog, contemporary and post-digital photography in Leipzig. The founders Thomas Hankel & Roman Walczyna, both professional photographers from the fields of music photography and fashion photography respectively, believe the time is ripe to offer contemporary analogue photography to the art market in an institutionalized way and in excellent quality.
The Analog Art Photography gallery is located in the Pittlerwerke Leipzig, a historic Leipzig industrial complex from the Wilhelminian era, a particularly aesthetic environment in which art and photography can flourish. The gallery focuses on international, analog photographers. The credo of Analog Art Photography is: from film to print without digital detours. With this in mind, workshops, events and excursions are part of the event program.
