Gleis 19 is a relatively new open-air event location in the 19th district (Gunoldstraße 12), which positions itself as a subcultural space for workshops, events and, above all, parties. Instead of a classic club setting, it feels more like an urban open-air spot: You come in the afternoon, stay for the twilight, and when the system is running, "just popping in" quickly turns into a small day rave under the open sky. The program is accordingly event-driven, often with open-air formats (e.g. day raves) and changing crews.

At the same time, Gleis 19 is also a place that is the subject of discussion in Vienna: Precisely because there are neighbors in the area, there has already been attention around noise and permits-an indication that the location (like many new outdoor spaces) must first settle into a balance between scene energy and neighborhood. Overall, Gleis 19 is exciting if you're in the mood for summer, bass and being outside - less slick, more "we're building a new place to dance here".
