Since 2019, the Globe Berlin has been a venue for genuine popular theater in a unique open-air setting during the summer months. The repertoire includes drama, spoken word and live music, Shakespeare performances in German and English in contemporary translations, as well as German classics - all at moderate ticket prices. Until the reconstruction of the former Schwäbisch Hall circular theater building is possible, a ring-shaped catwalk made of wooden components of the future Globe will serve as an open-air stage. The audience sits in the middle of the action, where the surrounding nature and the urban backdrop also play a role.
