Gotisches Haus

The Gothic House is one of the best-preserved and best-researched medieval town houses in the state of Brandenburg. The surrounding walls and roof have been preserved in their original state.The brochure"The Gothic House in Brandenburg an der Havel" provides further information on the history of the building.

The "Alchemy and Everyday Life" exhibition is located in the basement of the massive, two-storey house dating back to 1452.

The exhibition and event area is located on the first floor. Our offices have been on the upper floor of the old building since 2023, while the new building houses the cultural office.

Accessibility: The permanent exhibition "Alchemy and Everyday Life" in the basement of the Gothic House is unfortunately not barrier-free. The ground and upper floors are accessible by elevator. There is a barrier-free toilet on the first floor.
