In the location's words:

The Inner Space is a space for young people aged between 12 and 27. Managed by Christin Stephan, the full-time educational specialist and supported by several freelancers, young people can spend their free time here and actively help shape the space. On two floors, there is enough space to play, be creative, move around, exchange ideas, listen to music or just hang out.
In addition to the open offer, there is a regular program (e.g. cooking club, board games, making music, creative activities). Some workshops also take place in the young people's rooms, so if you have an offer or an event that can be organized for & with young people, please send us an inquiry.

The whole space INNER SPACE is, as you know, also a project part of the federal program, which means that it is only in the inner city until Aug/25 and contributes to this development through the participation of young people.

Bremerhaven was provided with a large amount of funding through the federal program "Sustainable inner cities and centers". Ten different project ideas were submitted under the motto "Rethinking the inner city". The "Youth participation space for the development of the inner city" is one of the projects. Project no. 9 INNER SPACE. Named by the young people of the youth space.

The aim of the project is to set up a recreation area for teenagers and young adults in the city center, with non-consumption offers, in order to increase the quality of stay in the city center for this target group. The project will run up to and including 31.08.2025.
