"The girls' garden is a place just for girls*!

And it really is a garden that girls* from Gelsenkirchen with and without disabilities can visit, design and cultivate.

Herbs, dye plants, fruit and vegetables are planted and processed here. Sometimes they dig and saw, sometimes they design creative things, sometimes they experiment and sometimes they just chill out.

There are courses, workshops and vacation programs on various topics, all of which have to do with sustainable action. We want to learn how to protect our planet not only for today but also for tomorrow, how to protect the environment and how to help shape our environment.

The garden is a place where girls* can try out very different things, experience their skills and have their ideas taken seriously."
