We have opened a unique dance venue in the middle of Neukölln. For the neighborhood - for you and with you! The Junges Tanzhaus Berlin is a home for young people and a laboratory for active participation.

At the Junges Tanzhaus Berlin, people dance, learn, research and celebrate. Whether on stage, at school or in the neighborhood: people meet here and create their dance together.

For us,community is the principle that connects everything: People, generations, experiences, neighborhoods, languages and movements.

Here, children dance alongside professionals, teachers learn from pupils, artists from young people, neighbors from each other. Visitors become co-creators, researching and thinking together. This creates a space in which knowledge, responsibility and joy are shared.

At Junges Tanzhaus Berlin, different functions of art are on an equal footing: artistic excellence, cultural participation and artistic research. In addition, the JTB builds bridges between art, education, science, social issues, urban development and politics. Because young people don't just move within one system - their learning, their thinking and their lives take place everywhere.

Lingering at the JTB, with or without dancing, is always welcome - from now on the Lucy-Kiezküche is also available at the JTB with delicious lunches and many other dishes and drinks. Come on over!
