Kammgarn Kaiserslautern

Kammgarn is one of the top venues in Germany and has been an internationally highly regarded, first-call concert venue for pop, rock, hip-hop, rap, indie, jazz, blues, comedy, cabaret, punk, gothic, infotainment and more for many years. It is a certified training company with four trainees.

The Kammgarn is a listed building. The Kammgarn area(approx. 1300 m² indoor/approx. 1000 m² outdoor) used to house a spinning mill. The houses and courtyards are surrounded by an attractive vintage atmosphere.

In the 36 years of its existence, the Kammgarn has hosted more than 7000 events, including over 75 international festivals, for more than three million visitors. It welcomes around 50,000 visitors per year.

The Kammgarn hosts national and international stars of the scene such as, for example, Maximo Park, B.B. The Kammgarn offers state-of-the-art sound and lighting technology(see TECHNOLOGY) and has experienced technicians and a highly committed team of trainees.

The Kammgarn has three event rooms: the Kasino with 1000 standing and 500 seated places; the Kammgarn Cotton Club (350 standing, 150 seated) and the Kammgarn Schreinerei (150 seated). All three halls are equipped with a bar. There are disabled WCs and a corresponding elevator. Our guests are welcomed in a visitors' foyer and will find free parking spaces directly at the venue. Weather permitting, they can sit in our light-flooded, planted courtyard before or after the events and enjoy their drinks. In June and July, this courtyard becomes the Kammgarn Kulturgarten, the fourth event space, so to speak. Artists and crews can expect a large catering room in the former turbine, as well as spacious checkrooms equipped with state-of-the-art showers and toilets. Parking spaces for nightliners and trucks are available directly at the venue.

The rooms at Kammgarn are also available for hire.

The Kammgarn is CO2-neutral.
