Our association kunZstoffe - urbane Ideenwerkstatt e.V. wants to use its work to draw attention to how valuable leftovers that have been turned into garbage can still be. We empower people to recognize the resources in these things.

Our work is based on the krimZkrams collection of materials, which is available in Halle, Leipzig and Zeitz. The materials collection is supplied by private individuals and companies with everyday items that are unusable or have reached the end of their useful life elsewhere: Plastic packaging, light bulbs, bicycle inner tubes, glasses and vases, fabric remnants, paper and wallpaper and much more. If you don't want to buy new things, you can collect them from us.

In our educational work for sustainable development and in varied leisure activities, something new is created with interested participants: useful everyday objects, fashion, jewelry, printed products and much more.

The krimZkrams is therefore a collection of materials, an open workshop and a workshop space all in one. A canon of offers is developed here that brings children, young people and adults closer to material cycles and sensitizes them to the correct use of resources.
