The kunst galerie fürth - Städtische Galerie has been open to visitors since November 2002. Since then, contemporary works of art by artists from Germany and abroad have been presented in the former counter hall of the Kreissparkasse bank at Königsplatz 1. Artists from the metropolitan region are also regularly presented.

The exhibitions are accompanied by a varied educational program that includes guided tours, artist talks and readings. There is also a wide range of art education programs for daycare centers and schools.
